10 Minute Workout For
Stress Relief

Let’s face it, parenting is a tough
job.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a
stay-at-home mom or dad, or if you work part-time, full-time or
majorly full-time…parenting is a daunting job and you should be
commended for it.
There are days when you feel like running
your head through a wall because of the frustration and madness
and there are other days where you feel like you just want to
do nothing but sit in quietest, most remote part of your house
and do nothing but recharge. Sometimes you just feel like
drinking, and those are all OK.
However there are many times when you
can’t do anything but take care of the kids, your job or any of
the million things that come along with both.
Workouts are usually one of the first
things to get thrown out the window when the stress levels
increase and that’s understandable, but it doesn’t have to be
that way.
You can still keep your fat loss goals in
check by using 10 minute workouts.
They don’t require a lot of time (hence
the point of 10 minute workouts…duh).
They don’t require a lot of space,
expensive equipment or trips to the gym, which are all good
because parenting usually leaves you with little spare income
in addition to the lack of free time.
Another great thing about 10 minute
workouts is that they’re stress busters.
I lost track of the times that I was
about to go crazy trying to juggle being a new dad and running
a business, but was able to focus that stress into a workout ot
make it better and more effective and get rid of all that
stress.
You can take all that extra anxiety,
madness and craziness and put it into your 10 minute workout
and utilize that pent up energy and turn it into something
useful rather than making you gain fat or lead to ulcers or
other stress related illness.
There are days when I get home from
training clients that I just don’t want to do a fat loss
workout, but I know I need to, add to that all the stress in
the household (my daughter’s 2 and sometimes it gets a little
crazy), and I know that the best thing in the world for me to
do is to go to the bedroom, close the door and pound out a 10
minute workout.
Every time I do that, I come out feeling
refreshed and ready to tackle the evening and whatever my
daughter throws my way.
So the next time life throws you a
curveball and you feel like your head might explode, do
yourself a favor and give a 10 minute workout a try. Who knows,
you just might lose fat in the
process.
