10-Minute Workout To Save Free Time

If you're a parent, then that means your time is valuable.  You have too much going on in your hectic life to worry about devoting anymore than absolutely necessary to a workout.  Here's a 10-minute workout designed for busy moms and dads like you.

This week has been kind of hectic.

I've trained a lot of clients (42 training sessions including some small-groups), done some boot camps, quite a few massages, plus all the work that goes along with being self-employed, and it just hasn't left me that much time to fit in my regular workouts.10-minute workout for abs

On top of that, I've been trying to spend more and more time with my daughter.

She's at a really fun age right now. She’s at that magical age where she makes you laugh one second then makes you wonder what the heck is going through her little head because she gets so defiant.

Because of that, I've really had to watch what I say. I let a naughty word slip out the other day and she picked right up on it. I got a bad look from my wife when she kept repeating the naughty word but I couldn't help but laugh.

It's just too damn funny when a little girl says a naughty word.

Back to the point of this message...

I haven't had much time to fit in my regular workouts.

That seems to happen more and more lately, but that's OK because I have a way to combat that issue.

I work in lots of 4 and 10-minute workouts that can be done anywhere and at anytime.

Some are bodyweight workouts and some are done with dumbbell or kettlebells and others are mixed - but they ALL revolve around my 10-minute workout philosophy.

The important part of these quick workouts is that you work your entire body and you do it intensely.

There's no room for wasted exercises and wasted movements..bodyweight cardio workout

Only full body fat burning exercises like push-ups, squats, swings, get-ups, rows and burpees.

Only fat burning exercises and workouts that make you "feel" as though you have worked out.

That is by far, the most important part of my 10-minute workouts.

If it's not difficult for you, then don't even bother doing it.

If you have tried any of my workouts, then you should know how a good workout feels.

But even if you didn't, I'll give you a few more 10-minute workouts for you to try at home, or even in your office at work, today.

As a matter of fact, do one of these right now and tell me you don't feel better.

Make sure you warm-up for a couple minutes before doing these workouts. Then perform them in a circuit fashion (doing 1A, 1B, 1C without any rest between exercises), performing as many circuits as possible in 10 minutes.

10-Minute Dumbbell Workout #1

1A) Push-up w/Hand Raise - 15 reps

1B) DB Bent Over Row - 8 reps

1C) DB Overhead Squat - 10 reps

1D) Burpee - 12 reps

10-Minute Workout #2

1A).DB Squat w/Shoulder Press - 10 reps

1B) Renegade Row - 10 reps

1C) Jump Split Squat - 16 reps

10-Minute Bodyweight Workout #1

1A) Bodyweight Reverse Lunge - 15 reps per leg

1B)  "T" Push-up - 10 reps

1C) Push-up Pump - 15 reps

1D) 1 1/2 Squat - 10 reps

10 Minute Bodyweight Workout #2

1A) Bodyweight Squat - 20 reps

1B) Jump Squat - 8 reps

1C) Push-up w/Hand Raise - 10 reps

1D) Fast Mountain Climber - 20 reps/leg

These workouts also make for a great start to your day, just wake up a few minutes earlier and do one of the bodyweight workouts in your living room before anyone else wakes up, or do it in your bedroom while still in your underwear!
