10-Minute Workout In Your Underwear

Let's exaggerate a bit, shall we?  Because you don't have to spend money on gyms and can do 10-minute workouts from home, it stands to reason that you can exercise in your underwear.  Okay maybe that's not an exaggeration...

I love working out in my underwear.

Is that too much information?

Regardless of whether you didn’t want to know my fondness for underwear workouts, the fact still remains that I like being able to roll out of bed in the morning and get a quick workout done before I hop in the shower and get ready for the day and not have to worry about heading to the gym, wasting any of my precious free time in the commute or having to worry about showering with other dudes in the communal showers and getting foot fungus because I forgot my flip-flops.

But what does an underwear workout entail? Is it uncomfortable?

Is it perverse?

First off, get your mind out of the gutter.

I’m talking about a fat burning workout here, nothing more, and nothing less.10-minute bodyweight workout in your underwear!

A fat burning workout done in your underwear usually revolves around a 10-minute body-weight workout so I don’t have to worry about dropping weights on my naked feet…

Seriously, though here’s an example of a bodyweight workout done in only 10-minutes.

Warm-up. Never, ever skip the warm-up especially if you’re doing this workout first thing in the morning like me. Doing so will set yourself up for an injury because your muscles are "cold" and tight after rolling out of bed in the morning. They need to get the blood flowing to them so that you can actually make it through the day without limping or heading to the doctor where you’ll likely get a lecture on how you should take it easy by some overweight, unhealthy doctor who needs to pipe down and take his own advice.

Did that sound bitter?

Anyway, my warm-ups involve a lot of push-ups, bodyweight squats, jumping jacks and mobility exercises. If you’re a beginner, your warm-up should involve something like jumping jacks, mobility exercises, hatchets and push-ups from the knees.

Do the warm-up continuously for about 3-5 minutes so that you’re breathing heavy and your blood get pumping.

After the warm-up, perform the following 10-minute bodyweight workout:

Perform this workout as a circuit, resting the least amount possible after the final exercise before repeating the entire circuit again.lose weight quick with 10-minute workouts

After that, you’re done!

1A) Push-up w/Shoulder Touch – 12 reps

1B) Overhead Bodyweight Lunge (normal lunge, but keep your arms straight over your head the whole time) – 10 per leg

1C) Jump Squat – 8 reps

1D) Inverted Row – 10 reps

1E) Burpees – 8 reps

After you do that circuit 3 or 4 times, you should be sweating pretty nicely, panting hard and will have your metabolism revved up for hours, meaning you’ll be burning fat all day long after you did your 10 minute workout in your underwear.

The really nice thing is that because you did your workout first thing in the morning, it's completely out of your brain.  You don't have to stress about finding time later on and worry whether you can still get the kids to their activities, fix dinner and complete your TPS reports.

It's done....finito...caput...no mas!

However, if you'd like to know one of my secrets, you can do that workout AGAIN later on in the day if you have the time and energy.  Performing "two-a-days" is a great way to boost the intensity of the workout and quicken your results.

It's not necessary, but it's an option.
