some of the most common questions I receive about Fat Loss To
Go and their answers
1.
Is
Fat Loss to Go mainly for men or
women?
Both.
In my studio I
train men and women with the same principles that are
outlined in Fat Loss to Go. Why should men and women
train differently when it comes to fat loss?
The
biggest difference between men and women are the amount of
calories needed…women generally need fewer calories than
men. As far as
training is concerned, the same exercises and principles
will work for both men and women.
The
thought that women should be doing endless amounts of cardio
and use only the “pink weights” (1 or 2 pound dumbbells) and
should stay away from certain exercises for fear of getting
“too big” is unfounded. I go into this in depth in
Fat Loss to Go, but this program will absolutely work for
both men and women…and it will work very, very
well.
Also,
the thought that guys need to go grab the biggest dumbbells
in the room and swing them around in order to get a good
workout is ridiculous. That will lead to
disappointment and injury.
2.
Do I
have to buy lots of equipment in order to do Fat Loss to
Go?
No.
That is one of
the cool things about Fat Loss to Go. It can be done with
minimal equipment. All you need are some
dumbbells, a bench, a stability ball, some resistance
tubing, along with your own body weight and you’re ready to
rock and roll.
For
dumbbells, I recommend Power
Blocks.

them. You

any sporting goods store because most of them carry Power

3.
Do I
have to join a gym? I don’t really have the
extra time to make it to the gym.
Nope.
You are the
exact person I had in mind when I developed this
program. I
understand that there are a lot of people out there who have
little free time to devote to exercise – either because of
work issues or hectic family lives (or both).
All
of these workouts can be done in the comfort of your own
home with minimal space required. You don’t need to purchase
a big piece of home gym equipment, because as I stated in
the previous question/answer – all you need are some
dumbbells, a bench, a stability ball, some resistance tubing
and your own body weight.

Can I
do these workouts at my gym?
Absolutely!
Just because I
developed these programs to be done for people who don’t
have time to make it to the gym doesn’t mean they can’t be
done in a gym.
Every commercial gym has the equipment needed to do the
workouts laid out in Fat Loss to Go.
5.
I’m
too old to really lose that much fat, how much can you really
help? I’m too out
of shape to get started with a fat loss program, how can Fat
Loss to Go help me?
You’re
never too old or too out of shape to get started losing
fat. As long as
you’re healthy enough and your doctor tells you it’s OK,
then you’re good to go.
You
know yourself better than anybody, but you’re probably
selling yourself short. There is no such thing as
an age limit or some fitness threshold to losing fat and
getting healthy…all you have to do is have the desire and
willingness to succeed (along with the right information)
and you’re on your way.
Another
beautiful thing about this program is that you can move at
your own pace.
I have set these workouts up so that you move progressively
from week to week through the entire 16 weeks (and
beyond).
However, if you feel as though you’re not ready to move on
to the next phase, simply keep doing the same set of
workouts for an extra few weeks until you feel you have
progressed enough.
One
thing I’ve learned while training clients is that people
progress at different levels – some very quickly and some a
little slower, which is why I am giving you the liberty to
judge for yourself whether or not you can move on to the
next phase.
Of
course I designed it to be done progressively in 16 weeks,
however, like I said earlier, if you feel the need to stay
in a certain phase for a little longer until you feel more
comfortable in that phase, then so be it…just so long as
you’re doing it and working hard.
6.
I’ve
never done resistance training before. Can I still do Fat Loss to
Go?
Absolutely!
One of the
beautiful things about my Fat Loss to Go program is that it
can be done by anyone. It doesn’t matter if
you’ve never picked up a weight before in your life, or if
you have tried every fat loss program under the
sun.
Remember
that many of these programs came right out of my own
training experience with clients that I’ve trained as well
as out of my own personal training routine. Meaning that people from
across the spectrum have used these exact same programs and
principles with fabulous results.

I’m
kind of advanced in terms of working out, can I still do this
program?
I
think I know what you’re getting at here. You’re saying that you
have been a member of a gym for a while or worked out in
your own home for a number of years, yet for one reason or
another are still looking to lose fat.
If
that’s the case, then the answer is “Yes!” you can
absolutely do this program and expect astounding
results.
I
routinely do these workouts myself and use them on my
clients who have trained for years. They can be adapted to
pretty much any fitness level, whether you’re a beginner or
have been working out for years.
8.
Do
you give me a diet plan along with this
program?
If
you mean a diet program where I tell you exactly what to eat
and exactly when to eat it, then the answer is no there is
no diet program. I explain my rationale in
the beginning of Fat Loss to Go, but I think, through my
experience in talking with people, that you wouldn’t follow
a diet plan even if I laid one out.
The
popular diet plans don’t take into account your busy
schedule or personal tastes and are many times too
constricting as far as what you can and cannot eat – which
will in the end lead to you quitting or thinking that you
failed when in reality it was the program that failed
you.
However,
you will learn A LOT about nutrition and living a healthy
lifestyle. The
Nutrition section is just as, if not more, important than
the actual workouts themselves.
The
Nutrition section of Fat Loss to Go is quite large and is
filled with tons of eye-opening information that you have
never heard, or if you have heard it before, it explains
exactly why you need to be doing those things.
I
go over the importance of consuming enough protein,
carbohydrates and fats and why leaving any of those out is
detrimental to your health and will hinder your long-term
fat loss goals.
I
also go over a number of simple, yet very, very effective
lifestyle changes that will skyrocket your fat
