Pregnancy Weight

How to lose pregnancy weight is a tough
question to answer for a lot of moms, whether you’re a first
timer or you’re on your 15th
(ouch!).
However
there are a few things that every mom should do when it comes
losing pregnancy weight.
- Don’t buy a diet pill or
follow a fad diet.
- Have a
plan
- Start off easy, but don’t
be afraid to work harder once you feel you’re
ready.
- Have healthy, fat fighting
snacks around the house and
office.
I did leave
one thing out when it comes to how to lose pregnancy weight.
You first must get the OK from your doctor to get back into the
swing of things. That’s a very important step that should not
be overlooked.
Now that
we’ve got that out of the way, let’s move right into these
pregnancy weight loss tips.
You should
never, ever buy a diet pill or follow any sort of weight loss
fad diet if you want to lose pregnancy
weight.
I know the
marketing sounds appealing, but they’re just lying to you and
preying on your good intentions and trust.
There’s no
such thing as "weight loss in a bottle", nor will there ever
be. You also need to pay attention to the fine print. All
weight loss pills tell you to follow a healthy diet and
exercise plan. If you do that, then why do you need the
pill?
Plus all
fad diets are way too restrictive, and restriction is not what
you need when it comes to losing pregnancy
weight.
When it
comes to losing pregnancy weight, you really do need a plan.
Your new child is taking up a ton of your time (duh!), so you
need to know what amount of time you have available to you,
what your goals are, and what you can realistically do. From
there, decide what to do.
The third
pregnancy weight loss tip is to start your workouts off easy,
but don’t be afraid to make them more intense when you feel
you’re ready.
Being
pregnant and going through labor are intense times for your
body. It will take you some time to recover fully so you really
need to stat your fat loss workout program off slow and steady
and build up to more intensity as you become stronger and more
comfortable.
All moms
are different, so if your friend was able to get right back
into the swing of things and workout harder than before she was
pregnant, doesn’t mean you can.
The last
pregnancy weight loss tip is to make sure you have some healthy
fat fighting snacks with you at all times so that you don’t
give in to temptation.
Losing
pregnancy weight is tough stuff and you shouldn’t need to worry
about self-sabotage because you’re
unprepared.
If you know
you’re going to be away from home for a few hours, take some
almonds or a couple pieces of fruit with you to snack on in the
car. That way you’ll be less likely to stop at the
drive-thru.
If you’re
going to hang out with some other moms and you know there’s
going to be lots of bad for you treats, eat a healthy, fat
fighting snack before you leave the house so you don’t feel
hungry when you get there.
There you
have it mom, if you follow those fat fighting tips you will
lose pregnancy weight and you will
lose it fast.
