OK I made you wait and now back to the really embarrassing "fat
personal trainer" story I started to tell you about
earlier.
As I said, I'm a very busy personal trainer who helps dads
every single day lose fat, yet what I'm about to tell you is
very embarrassing.
It all started innocently enough. My wife got up early one
Sunday morning, came back to bed and told me she was
pregnant.
First I was shocked...I think my jaw hit the floor and my eyes
bugged out of my head, but then I started to feel pretty
good.
In fact, when Andrea told me she was
pregnant with our little girl, Maren, I was beyond happy.
I was ecstatic at the thought of being a dad.
But then the thoughts started to creep
in.

keep all the boys away from my little girl or
do I need to learn to shoot a
gun?" |

"I don't have enough
free time now, how in God's name am I going to
find the time to raise a

takes to be a dad?" |
The kinds of questions that eat at you,
keep you up at night and
gnaw at your stomach.
So I decided that I needed to be even busier
than I already was in order to make sure that I made
enough money to raise my new family. I was already
working an obscene amount of hours, but I thought I
needed to do more.
Then in the Fall of that same year, my wife
and I were invited to a birthday party for a client of
mine. We went and had a great time. Everybody ooh'd and
ahh'd over my very pregnant wife and talked about how
wonderful it is to have a family.
While we were eating and talking, someone
wanted to take our picture. We gladly obliged.
Fast forward a couple weeks and I got a copy
of that picture. I was taken aback.
I couldn't believe how fat I
looked! My pants looked way too tight,
my sweater was a little tight and you could see fat
bulges and my face looked "pudgy and bloated".
I'm a personal trainer! I'm not
supposed to look "pudgy"!
Later that week, I went with my wife to one
of her final doctor's appointments before our daughter
was born.
After the nurse weighed her, I decided to
get on the scale.
I couldn't believe my eyes! The scale said
that I'd gained 18 pounds...and it wasn't muscle!
I was the fattest I had ever been. The worst part
was that it had only taken a couple months to gain all
this fat!
Then I started thinking about my life over
the previous couple months. It was very
stressful.
I didn't have a lot of time to
devote to my regular fat loss workouts and I began to eat
poorly...comfort foods if you will.
But I was sickened. I couldn't believe that
I had gained that much weight. It just crept up on me and
now none of my pants fit!
I had to come up with something to get that
ugly and
dangerous stomach fat
off.
I had to come up with a fat loss
program that would not only get me in the best shape of
my life, but I had to make the workouts very, very
short...10 minute
workouts sounded about right.
I wanted to be there for my wife and new
baby. I didn't want to have to spend hours in my training
studio hitting the weights or hours on the treadmill
doing cardio in an effort to lose stomach fat.
Plus I wanted to come up with a program that I
could do from home because I knew there were
going to be days it would be impossible to away from the
house.
I love my training studio, but I'm not a fan of commercial
gyms. I think they waste way too much time and
money.
They waste time by driving to and from your home, they waste
time because you have to wait for equipment.
The program I came up with helped me lose over
5 1/2 inches
off my waist in less than 10 weeks. I
only lost 10 pounds though, which meant that
while
I was losing fat I actually gained
muscle.

Lots of guys have been told that it's impossible to gain muscle
and lose fat at the same time, but that' a
myth.
I'm living proof that it's possible to lose fat and
gain muscle at the same time.
My shoulders got bigger, my back got bigger and stronger, my
chest became enviable and my waist shrunk to 30.5
inches.
I had never been in better shape! Sure my waist had been that
small before, but I was also 20 pounds lighter and just out of
high school.
Not only that, but I only did 10-minute workouts, 5
days a week!
I know what you might be thinking. 10 pounds and 5 1/2 inches
isn't that big of a deal when you may have 20, 30, or more
pounds to lose. I understand your disbelief or frustration, but
you have to understand something. I'm a fitness professional.
I'm supposed to be the fittest guy in the room at all times.
This type of thing shouldn't happen to me.
I was in OK shape before I came up with this program,
then I got fat and doughy, then I got in great
shape after I came up with Fat Loss To

Do you
remember that little story I started to tell you earlier
about the evil Dr. Fatty and his legion of
goons?
The evil Dr. Fatty and his band of goons are
out to lie, deceive and make you believe that fat loss is just
too tough. He wants you, the innocent
dad to gain fat and
keep on gaining more and more.
He will not
stop on his mission until all the dads have lied to
themselves and started believing they just can't
lose their stubborn fat and they should just get used to
carrying around that blubber.
Like all evil super-villains, Dr. Fatty has
a group of henchmen willing to do his evil fatty
bidding.
I'll start off with a role call of some of
his more deceitful buddies.
First up we have his sidekick Laze.
He's French, so his name may look like "lazy", but it's
pronounced more like laza. Silly guy.
Oddly enough, even though he's Dr. Fatty's
main henchmen he's not very active in his evil
duties.
Don't get me wrong, he's very effective in
his ability to turn dads into lazy piles of goo, just not too
eager to work.
Next up we have The Time Sucker. He's
quick to point out that you have no time to do anything when it
comes to exercise, or anything fun for
yourself.
He's the little devil on your shoulder
telling you you're too busy to workout, or that you've just got
too much to do so it's OK to swing through the drive-thru and
pick up a burger and fries...again.
He's also that evil little demon who tells
you that people who say you can get workouts done in around 10
minutes are stupid and don't know what they're talking
about.
He's about the nastiest of all the henchmen
just because of his dirty little lies and how easy it is for
you to believe him.
Last up we have the biggest liar of them all.
This guy is really nasty because he looks good and sounds good
and a lot of other superheroes have bought into what he's
saying, unbeknownst to them that he's pure
evil.
His name is Cardio King. You may have
also heard of his wife, Cardio Queen. They've got a lot
of villainous offspring like "The Fat Burning Zone" and
"You Have To Do Cardio for 20 Minutes Before You Burn Any
Fat".
As I've said, they seem harmless enough and
there's even logic behind what they say and they have fooled a
lot of people into believing them.
That's why they're so valuable to Dr. Fatty
and why he holds them in such high regard.
But they're all evil...pure evil and they all
want one thing.
That one thing is to trick you into
believing that it's too hard to lose fat and that you can't
lose the fat you want and achieve the body you want and
deserve.
They're not out for world domination like so
many other super-villains, they're just out to do their best to
make you fat and unhealthy.
But who's there to stop
them?
Whomever can we call upon to come in and save
the day?
Look! Up
there! It’s a bird, it’s a plane...no it’s The Fit Dad! (I hope
the Superman people don’t sue me over that).
Here he
comes to save the day!
The Fit Dad
is here to smash the evil Dr. Fatty and all his evil henchmen
to bits and pieces.
He’s here
to squash each and every false teaching they proclaim as
gospel.
He’s here
to put an end to all the myths, lies and deception that the
evil Dr. Fatty and his silly little henchmen
spew.
Most
importantly he's here to tell you that it's not your fault if
you've failed in your fat loss attempts in the past because the
evil Dr. Fatty and all his buddies have been lying to you
making you believe things that weren't true and making you feel
horribly about yourself.

Evil Dr. Fatty's Fat
Loss Lie #1:
"To Lose Stomach Fat and get a Strong and
Lean Physique, you have to slave away for hours doing
mind-numbingly boring cardio"
The Fit Dad's Strike
Back!: I don't know about you, but I hate
cardio. I'd rather slap myself than run for an hour on the
treadmill (or even 30 minutes!).

That seems counterintuitive to
what every dad I have ever spoken to about fat loss has
learned. They seem hell bent on the idea that in order to
lose stomach fat, they must slave away and "pray to the
treadmill gods" or hit the pavement for miles of jogging
or running.
That's an outdated and
backwards way of looking at fat loss and
science is finally catching up to what some of the best
"in the know" fitness professionals have been teaching
for years.
In fact, Fat Loss To Go doesn't

To be totally honest, I can't
remember the last time I did a cardio workout longer than
15 minutes...if at all. Sure I go for walks with my wife,

question...
...What reason do you have for doing cardio?

getting ready to hit the pavement for another jog or hop
on the treadmill?
Is it that cardio burns calories?
OK, fine. You win. Cardio burns
calories.
But you know what? EVERYTHING burns
calories! Teaching your kids to ride a bike burns
calories. Doing laundry burns calories. Replacing a light
bulb burns calories. And even sitting on your butt in
front of the television burns calories, but you're not
going to find a fat loss expert telling you to do that
for 60-90 minutes a day to lose stomach fat are
you?
"The fat burning zone", "Do it in the
morning on an empty stomach", blah, blah, blah - it's all
a bunch of crap! You're paying attention to
the wrong numbers (which I'll explain in
the next section) and you don't have to do cardio to lose
fat!
Evil Dr. Fatty's Fat
Loss Lie #2:
"You can't lose staomch
fat with 10 minute workouts, 5 days a week. That's just
not enough time. You have to workout for at least 30
minutes, any less and you're just not working hard
enough."

Back!: My
question when it
comes to fat loss workouts has never been "Is more
better?", rather my question, which should also
be your question is "Is more
exercise necessary?"
Do you really have to do a workout for 30, 45
or 60 minutes to see results? If your answer is
'yes', why? Why can't I come up with an exercise program
that totally cuts through all the fluff and worthless exercises
and gets you done in only 10 minutes?
The great thing is that I can and I
did. Let me just say that I understand your
skepticism. It might be hard to believe that you can get
in a great fat loss workout in only 10
minutes.

He could've been paid by the company and took steroids or
other drugs. It is Hollywood after all and happens a lot
more than you think.
And just because your best
friend, brother, or dad lost 10 pounds on this new diet
doesn't mean it's going to stay off once he
quits.
Whenever you hear about some new
diet, I want you to ask yourself a question. How're you
supposed to eat when the diet ends?
Most fad diets are
supposed to come to an end, right? You can't actually be
expected to stick to that restricted diet for the rest of
your life, can you?
So how are you supposed to eat
when you go off the diet? Does the author tell you that
you can go back to your regular eating habits? You know
the ones that made you gain all that stomach fat, chest
fat (hello man-boobs!), love handles and chin
fat.
Or are you actually supposed to
stick to that stupid diet for the rest of your
life?
Are you supposed to feel
irritable and cranky forever?
There's got to be a better way,
right?
There is and I go over all the

They've got the rude people who
don't wipe up their sweat, which is just plain
disgusting.
They've got those wonderful
policies that won't let you quit until your contract is
up, thus locking you in paying for something that you
don't want.
They've got initiation fees. Is
a health club some sort of new fraternity or secret
society? What's with an initiation fee for a health
club?
The truth is you don't have to
join a health club or some fancy gym in order to get an
awesome fat loss workout.
It takes very little equipment
to get fast, effective fat loss workouts done.
