Weight Loss Diet Help

"Diet."
"What to eat if you hope to succeed with weight
loss."
"Healthy nutrition."
Whatever you want to call it, nutrition is a huge component of
losing fat, but especially from the stomach.
I think I could just hear you grumble under your breath, "No
kidding, Ed. What a brilliant statement from the wise, all knowing personal trainer!"
I'm sorry for stating the obvious and making a pretty dumb
statement, but it's true and sometimes the obvious needs to be stated.
It’s also one of the most misunderstood, right up there with
cardio.
It’s misunderstood because everybody thinks they’re an expert
when it comes to nutrition.
And not just the real weight loss diet experts or diet book
authors, but your friends, co-workers, family members, or whomever you bump into on the street, thinks that they
know the best weight loss diet that will help you lose all the fat you want in 2 days.
We all know somebody, or somebody’s friend, or somebody’s
parent, or a friend of our daughter’s who lost 5000 pounds while going on some crazy weight loss
diet.
Talk to that person a few months later and you’ll find they
gained it all back...and probably more.
That’s because fad diets do NOT work, nor will they ever work
for long-lasting weight loss. Plus they’re just not very fun to stick to because they’re really restrictive and put
a clamp on most of your favorite foods.
The truth that the marketers and weight loss diet book writers
don’t want to tell you is that there are a few steps you can take right now, that will help you lose fat, that
don’t require any goofy, restrictive, crazy weight loss diets.
So if you really want to lose that blubber, follow these
tips.
The first thing you need to do is eat more fiber rich
foods.
Fiber is nature's appetite suppressant, meaning that you feel
fuller longer after eating a fiber rich meal.
If you don't believe me, try eating a big bowl of broccoli in
one sitting. You won't be able to because of the fiber content in the broccoli. On the other hand, it’s very easy
to eat a bowl of chips or cookies, which are void of any fiber.
That's not to say there are a lot of calories in broccoli,
because most fruits and vegetables are very low in calories, it's just the way the fiber acts in the digestive
system. It bulks and helps in the weight loss process.
You also should cut out all sodas and juices. This includes
diet soda and "low calorie" juices.
Yes, diet pop will make you fat, as will many so-called fruit
juices, even if they say "no calories" or "low calories".
If you are a regular pop drinker, you can gradually cut it out
if that will help keep you sane. However you MUST cut it out because it WILL add fat to your waist line, or stall
your weight loss efforts (at best).
You should then replace your pop or juice habit with something
like green tea or just plain ol' water.
The next thing is to never let yourself get to the point where
you feel like you're starving. This will only lead to bad decisions and overeating.
I say this from experience. If I allow myself to get to the
point where I am famished and really, really hungry I will immediately start to think of how good a greasy
cheeseburger and fries would taste.
That may not sound appealing to you, but I love a greasy burger
and I always have.
It's my biggest vice.
However if I make sure to always keep some healthy snacks
around like home-made trail mix or some fruit, I don't get the cravings and keep eating healthy, fat fighting
foods.
That's about as easy as it gets nutritionally
speaking.
If you do even one of items I discussed, you will lose stomach
fat.
If you change all of them, watch out! The fat will start to
fall off your body and you'll be well on your way to your ideal physique, all without a crazy weight loss diet.
